On July 11, 2011 I joined Atlanta Communities Real Estate in a move to be more creative in today's real estate market. At Atlanta Communities we are positioned to be local area experts, focusing our time and effort to best service our neighbors with selling, leasing and buying residential real estate. In my 20 years as a real estate professional, I have seen firsthand the impact our economy has on the values of real estate. As a result, I now provide "short-sale" assistance to homeowners. Also, the buying patterns of those purchasing real estate in the city of Atlanta has changed as homes prices fluctuate in all intown neighborhoods.  Even in the most challenging of times there is opportunity. As a "Buyer's Agent", that means knowing the market area being targeted by the Buyer, being a savvy negotiator, fully understanding the details of our sales contracts and having a good general knowledge of home construction and all related issues that affect the value of a property.

As a "Listing or Seller's Agent" it's very important to understand the values and trends of the neighborhood and surrounding comparative market area that the agent specializes. I believe listing agents should definitely be the "local expert" in a given geographical area. I effectively advise homeowners where to spend money on improvements required to maximize value and increase marketability.  Once again, negotiating skills and understanding the details of our contracts is imperative.  Finally, regular communication with clients through the entire process of buying or selling a property is absolutely the most important aspect to professionally completing a real estate transaction.
The biggest highlight of my career so far is getting referrals and repeat business from past clients.  That is the highest and best compliment I can receive as a sales professional.
